TEAM NEWS: Chris Bridge handed first Warrington Wolves appearance of year
7:20pm Friday 8th March 2013 in Wolves news By Mike Parsons
Chris Bridge
THE Monaghan brothers are back in the Warrington Wolves team against St Helens tonight, while Chris Bridge makes his long-awaited return from knee surgery.
Top try scorer Joel Monaghan starts in his familiar right-wing role, with Bridge on his inside.
Joel Monaghan missed the first defeat of the season at Hull KR on Sunday with an abductor strain, while Bridge made a comeback with partner club Swinton Lions after an operation to repair the tendonitis issues that dogged him last season.
Bridge's selection means Rhys Evans misses out for the first time this season.
Michael Monaghan, an influential feature of the Wolves team from dummy half, also missed the trip to Craven Park and his selection at hooker means a drop back to the bench for Micky Higham.
Ryan Atkins makes his 100th Warrington appearance tonight, while for Stefan Ratchford it is his 100th Super League appearance from his time with Salford and Wolves.
