WOLVES boss Tony Smith has been forced to make changes for the trip to Hull FC on Saturday, kick off 5.45pm.

Injuries to Lee Briers (neck/shoulder), captain Adrian Morley (bicep) and Ben Harrison (hernia), as well as the suspension of second row Ben Westwood for fighting during last week’s victory against Catalans means Smith has shuffled his pack for the game at the KC Stadium.

Fresh from their dual-registration stints at partner club Swinton Lions, Tyrone McCarthy, James Laithwaite and Ben Currie have been named in Wolves’ 19-man squad, while under 19s centre James Saltonstall has also earned a call-up.

Saturday's game is set to see two more player milestones reached with Chris Riley due to mark his 150th club appearance and Paul Wood his 300th.

Wolves' head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith said: "It will be a tough game no doubt.

"Last year was unique; I think we got off a plane five days before our first round against Hull and we had a real tough game over there.

"We are in a different shape this year as are they.

"They've recruited some new players and will have gained some confidence from their last couple of outings and we are starting to build some of ours as well."

Opponents Hull have made just one change to the squad that scraped a 22-22 draw with St Helens last week, with Airlie Birds boss Peter Gentle naming winger Tom Lineham in place of the injured Jason Crookes.
