Players from back row left - right..Joe Ropati-Mark Forster-Mark Roberts-Bob Jackson-Alan(Action)
Rathbone-Ronnie(Rhin
o)Duane-Brian Johnson-
Front Row-Mark Roskall -?- Paul Bishop-Les Boyd-Mike Gregory-Des Drummond.
Just the one player i can't seem to remember..Some great players here,Les Boyd is a stand out as he always gave his all and was very skilful for his stature.
Ronnie Duane was hard to stop on his day and if not for injuries would have achieved much more.Drummond and Fozzie good finishers and Fozzie still playing! Finally the late Mike Gregory gave his all for the Wire and his held in hih esteem as one of the greats of our game.
Happy days and great memories of a different era!

I think the one missing from Jacko's list is Keith Holden - played scrum half for a couple of years before his knee went. Brilliant team and won some honours too. Kevin Tamati & Garry Sanderson would also have been players of this era.

Also, Mark Roskell not Roskall at hooker (when hookers were hookers - lost his place in the team to one of the all time great wire no. 9s - Duane Mann).

Ahhhh i remember these days with great fondness, probably about the 1st year i watched the Might Wire, Great Team.... Boydy was amazing (never forget him and Kurts Sorenson fighting whilst the game was still going on) Mark Roberts was one of the best second rowers in the game he was like lightening, agile and could round Fullbacks as if they wasnt there!! As mentioned in other posts some Icons of Wire History, Dessie was the best, his spats with Offiah will live long in the memory! Does anyone remember Tony Hodson, Carl Webb, and the Great Phil Blake!
