A PERMANENT record of Warrington Wolves’ Wembley successes will be laid at the famous old ground.
Stones are being laid in the concourses near the Bobby Moore statue honouring previous Wembley winners, and the club has been presented with its own commemorative stone to mark its Challenge Cup success.
It will be displayed in The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Andy Gatcliffe, Wolves’ chief executive, said: “We are delighted to be going down in history at a stadium where we have celebrated some memorable victories and the commemorative stone will take pride of place here at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.”
