THE line of players bidding to get into Steve Price's team is getting longer.

Toby King (hamstring) and Dom Crosby (ankle) are fit and available for Warrington Wolves selection against Castleford Tigers in a top-four Super League battle at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night.

Toby King has sat out the last eight matches, Crosby the last seven.

And with Mitch Brown, Ben Pomeroy and George King among those who missed out on selection for the Challenge Cup quarter-final triumph against Wigan Warriors, The Wire are in decent shape.

Although there was some initial fears over Sitaleki Akauola limping out of the action in the second half, he is in the mix to face Daryl Powell's side.

"Everybody's come through in really good shape after the Wigan game," said Price.

"All the players who trained at the weekend were on the pitch today.

"A number of players got flogged on the pitch after the game. Mitch Brown, Ben Pomeroy, George King, Dom Crosby and Toby King, they're all fit and ready to go.

"A lot of those players are putting a lot of pressure on our starting 13 but also on the lads coming off the bench. That's what successful clubs have – players putting pressure on players every week.

"Since the Wigan game there has been a lot of focus on recovery and mentally getting in a really strong mindset for Friday night.

"It's going to be a really hard game because Castleford are right on our heels at the moment."

Tigers head to The Wire in fourth place, two points behind and with a game in hand following their 42-14 win at Hull KR at the weekend.

Cas have had some injury issues and are still without England scrum half Luke Hale but last season's Super League top try scorer Greg Eden returned against Hull KR after eight weeks sidelined with a recurring hamstring injury, while new full-back signing Quentin Laulu-Togaga’e could make his debut.

Junior Moors, Greg Minikin, Ben Roberts and James Green were on the sidelines at the weekend too, but Joe Wardle was also welcomed back.

Full-back has been an issue for Powell since Zak Hardaker's exit but the arrival of former Samoan international Laulu-Togaga’e gives Cas more options.

Price said: "It's a little bit of a different dimension to what they've had with Ben Roberts playing there.

"But sticking to our systems and our structures is our main focus."
