STEVE Price says The Wire's 66-10 Challenge Cup win over Toronto was "like watching Lord of the Rings" and branded it the slowest game he had ever been involved in.
Referee Ben Thaler awarded 24 penalties in an ill-tempered game at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, with the Wolfpack having three players sin-binned and Andrew Dixon sent off.
That allowed The Wire to run in 12 tries and set up a quarter-final tie with Wigan.

Price credited Thaler for his control of the game but admitted the nature of the contest was not what people want to see.
"It was like watching Lord of the Rings," he said.
"It was one of the slowest games I’ve ever been involved in, it felt like it was going on forever.
"It wasn't a good look for the game, to be honest.
"There were 24 penalties and all of them were warranted. I thought Ben controlled the game really well.
"They tried to drag the game down and we fell to their level at times.
"The first half went for 55 minutes. That's not what we want this great game to be.
"We want to entertain the fans and play up-tempo."
