STEVE Price hailed the resilience of his Wire side as they saw off Leeds Rhinos at Headingley last night.

Harvey Livett completed a hat-trick late on, with Ben Murdoch-Masila scoring on the hooter to complete a 33-22 success.

It was a victory that did not look likely after Joel Moon, Ryan Hall and Carl Ablett crossed in the first 20 minutes of the second half to give the Rhinos a 22-11 lead.

However, it was The Wire who were left celebrating their eighth Super League victory in a row.

"I thought we showed a lot of resilience tonight. We turned a corner in a lot of aspects," he said.

"I felt we were always in control of the game, especially in the first 40 minutes.

"I was disappointed with the start after half time, but there were some calls I couldn’t get my head around.

"Credit to Leeds, they are a quality football team with a lot of strength across their 17.

"They scored a lot of tries in quick succession, but I was really pleased with our ability to hang tough."
