SOME of The Wire's star players spent Wednesday evening helping out at several community coaching sessions put on by the club.
There were Wire players and coaches present at all seven of the town's amateur clubs as they led youngsters through coaching drills and passed on tips.
Bank Quay Bulls were treated to appearances from Tyrone Roberts, Ben Murdoch-Masila and Sitaleki Akauola, as well as head of player welfare Kylie Leuluai.
Mike Cooper, Kevin Brown and community coach Lee Mitchell headed to Victoria Park to visit juniors at Latchford Giants.
Assistant coach Andrew Henderson took Ben Currie, Bryson Goodwin, Mitch Brown and Pat Moran with him to Woolston Rovers, while his fellow assistant Lee Briers was at Rylands Sharks with Ryan Atkins, Harvey Livett, Jack Johnson and Eribe Doro.
Chris Hill, Stefan Ratchford, Joe Philbin, Toby King and Morgan Smith were on hand at Culcheth Eagles, with Dom Crosby, Jack Hughes and Luis Johnson taking sessions at Burtonwood Bulldogs alongside coaches Jack Phillips and Lee Westwood.
