STEVE Price has confirmed that injured Wire trio Ben Currie, Ryan Atkins and Dom Crosby are in contention for the Easter fixtures with Widnes and Castleford.

Currie and Crosby have been suffering with knee injuries, with the former missing since coming off injured against Wigan on February 23 and the latter sitting out the past two matches.

Atkins has also missed the wins over Catalans and Wakefield with an abductor muscle injury, although he was included in the 19-man squad for latter of the two games.

Price also said he was optimistic on winger Tom Lineham’s fitness after he limped off with a hamstring strain after scoring his third try in Friday’s 34-24 victory over Wakefield.

“Tom’s not too bad. He had more of a recovery session today, so we’ll know more about him during the week.

“I’d like to think it’s nothing too serious and nothing much to worry about.

“Ryan Atkins, Dom Crosby and Ben Currie will all come into consideration again this week. That’s a very good headache for me to have.”

Wire fans will also be hoping to see their first glimpse of Josh Charnley in action for their side over the Easter period after Price resisted the temptation to give the winger an immediate debut on Friday.

The Wolves boss, however, is keeping his cards close to his chest.

“I can’t really say too much about Josh at the moment,” he said when asked he would be involved over Easter.

“He’s trained with us again today and it’s more about him understanding our systems and structures. He’s picking them up quite easily, though.

“I’ve got a number of tough decisions to make this week, but I’ll know more after tomorrow’s session.”
