CHRIS Hill will remain at Wolves captain, with Kevin Brown taking the role of vice-captain.
The prop assumed the captaincy ahead of the 2016 season and will now carry the role for a third campaign.
Brown, who joined the club from Widnes ahead of last season, has captaincy experience at the Vikings.
“Chris is a very experienced player within our squad and showed outstanding leadership throughout the World Cup campaign with England,” head coach Steve Price.
“He’s always full of energy, he challenges the players around him and I know he’s a guy I can certainly rely on.
“I’ve had a high opinion of Kevin as a player for a long time. He’s another person I know I can rely on.
“He’s analytical, understands the game well and communicates well amongst his peers.
“He’s a guy with strong leadership within the group and isn’t afraid to voice his opinion.
“The two will complement each other well.”
