WOLVES' next opponents Leigh Centurions will be without a key player for their trip to The Halliwell Jones Stadium after Ben Reynolds was hit with a ban.
After taking an Early Guilty Plea for a Grade B tripping charge, the half-back has been given a one-match suspension, meaning he misses Saturday's crucial Middle 8s clash.
The charged releated to an incident involving Widnes second-rower Chris Houston in the Centurions’ 24-8 loss on Sunday.
Wolves centre Ryan Atkins was cautioned by the RFL following an incident in Saturday’s victory at London Broncos.
Atkins could have been hit with a striking charge following an incident during The Wire’s 40-38 victory which saw Broncos half-back Jarrod Sammut hit with a swinging arm.
However, the Match Review Panel have deemed the incident worthy of a caution and Atkins will not face any further action.
Jack Hughes has also escaped punishment for a 15th-minute shoulder charge on William Barthau, while London pair Eddie Battye (dangerous contact on Ashton Sims, 65mins) and Ben Evans (dangerous contact on Hughes, 34th minute) will also not face charges.
