WOLVES will kick off their Middle 8s campaign with a trip to neighbours Widnes Vikings.

The Wire will take on Denis Betts’ side, whom they beat 22-6 in the final Super League regular rounds fixture on Thursday, at the Select Security Stadium on Friday, August 4.

Home games against Catalans (Saturday, August 12) and Halifax (Saturday, August 19) follow, with the latter being shown live on Sky Sports.

Tony Smith’s side kick off September with a televised trip to London Broncos on Saturday, September 2, before hosting Leigh Centurions on Saturday, September 9.

A trip to Featherstone follows on Sunday, September 17, before The Wire wrap up their Middle 8s campaign at home to Hull Kingston Rovers on Saturday, September 23.

Wolves will be hoping to secure one of the top three spots in the Qualifiers table, with the fourth and fifth-placed sides facing each other for the final Super League spot for 2018 in the Million Pound Game on September 30.
