BRISBANE Broncos have announced overnight that they have signed Warrington Wolves forward Andre Savelio for 2018.
Savelio therefore joins half back Kurt Gidley and centre Rhys Evans out of the exit door of The Halliwell Jones Stadium at the end of the season, with Ashton Sims also expected to join them with a move to Toronto Wolfpack.
The 22-year-old former Latchford Albion back rower, a former pupil of Cardinal Newman High School, was in The Wire starting 13 that defeated Broncos in the World Club Series clash in February.
He turned professional with St Helens, where he made his debut in 2014, and signed with Warrington at the end of 2016 after a loan spell with Castleford Tigers.
Savelio has been in and out of Tony Smith's side throughout the year.
He was expected to be the man to hold the fort at left second-row during Ben Currie's absence but French international Benjamin Jullien stepped up to the plate.
To date Savelio has made 17 appearances, scoring five tries, and has been in good form in recent weeks.
