WOLVES first team coach Richard Agar says his side will have to be wary of the threat posed by Hull FC stand-off Albert Kelly tonight.
The Australian crossed the city to join the Black and Whites from fierce rivals Hull KR in the off-season and has made a flying start to life at the KCOM Stadium.
Kelly has scored nine tries already this season, including one in the 22-22 draw with Wolves at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on April 1.
Agar says there are many facets of Kelly’s game that make him a threat but that the Airlie Birds possess dangers all over the pitch.
“Albert Kelly is the X-factor for them, he has a good running game and is deceptively strong for such a small guy,” he said.
“He’s got the skills to find some opportunist plays as well.
“They are a quality team. We’ve seen a fair bit of them, certainly towards the back end of last year.
“Attack-wise, they’ve got plenty of power. They are at their best when the big fellas are ramping the ball into you and they get a kicking game off the back of that.
“They possess different threats in different ways right across the park.”
