WOLVES wrap up their Easter schedule by welcoming Huddersfield Giants to The Halliwell Jones Stadium this afternoon.

IN this topsy-turvy encounter, Daryl Clark’s late try ensured Wolves would go into the Super 8s having finished second in the Super League table.

Ex-Wire Gene Ormsby got a hat-trick for Huddersfield, with Aaron Murphy, Nathan Mason and Craig Huby also crossing.

TORRENTIAL rain made free-flowing rugby difficult, as Wolves found out to their cost.

Aaron Murphy and Leroy Cudjoe crossed for the game’s only tries as The Wire were kept off the scoresheet away from home for the first time since 2001.

GIANTS 48 WOLVES 10: Sunday, September 13, 2015:

HUDDERSFIELD secured themselves a semi-final spot by running nine tries past Wolves, including four for the red-hot Jermaine McGillvary.

Aaron Murphy also weighed in with a hat-trick, with Joe Wardle and Jamie Ellis also crossing.

Ben Westwood and Roy Asotasi scored for Wolves, but it was a miserable afternoon in Yorkshire for The Wire.

GIANTS 30 WOLVES 19: Sunday, June 14, 2015:

IN a game that saw two players from each side sent to the sin bin, Wolves were on the wrong end of a second-half comeback.

Gareth O’Brien scored a try and kicked a drop-goal after Daryl Clark had opened the scoring to give Wolves a 13-6 lead at the break, with Jake Connor replying for the hosts.

However, Jermaine McGillvary scored twice to go with further efforts from Jared Simpson and Jodie Broughton to ensure Giants were victorious, despite Ben Harrison crossing for The Wire.

WOLVES 10 GIANTS 29: Friday, March 27, 2015:

A FIRST defeat to Huddersfield since 2011 saw Wolves leapfrogged by their opposition in the Super League table.

Aaron Murphy crossed twice while there was a try each for Jamie Ellis, Jermaine McGillvary and Eorl Crabtree.

Gareth O’Brien and Kevin Penny were on the scoresheet for Tony Smith’s side.
