Warrington Wolves boss Roger Draper says fans have much to look forward to as Hull KR arrive in town for the first home game of the Super League season on Sunday

IT is the first home game of the season on Sunday when Hull KR visit.

We are particularly busy behind the scenes this week getting everything ready.

We are putting the final touches to the new sound system, new refreshment areas, boxes and hospitality and we are also getting licensing for the new bars which will be open for an extra hour after the game.

There will be lots of things to learn in terms of getting it right with our people.

We have got plenty going on for this family day so we want fans to arrive as early as possible so they can enjoy the pre-match entertainment.

Our new DJ James Glover will be on, a huge Wire fan, we have the Wirettes, the new cheerleaders and Lizzie Jones will be singing as well to launch the new sound system.

Sunday will also see the launch of the new flags in the South Stand which came after a suggestion from fans who wanted something similar to Liverpool and Wigan say.

They suggested the two legends in Mike Gregory and Lee Briers and then also the one with the slogan 'It's Always our Year' which turns that song around.

I hope it is our year but this shows we can also poke fun at ourselves.

We are expecting a big following from Hull KR after their good start against Castleford and it should be a really good atmosphere.

And we are obviously still on a high after beating Leeds.

After the match we are hoping that people will stay later and have a beer or a walk and chat about the game.

The players have no game the following weekend because of the World Club Challenge.

But the Sydney Roosters will be training with us at some point next week and there will be a session with them at Victoria Park, as we are trying to protect the pitch here at The Halliwell Jones.

And we hope that will be an event where our members can come for free and watch.

Then on February 26, there will be a night match at home to Wakefield. It will be a really different atmosphere with lights.

But first we are hoping as many people as possible come on Sunday.

The weather is looking good and a number of players will be making their competitive home debuts.
