DARYL Clark's momentous week continues when he pulls on the primrose and blue against St George Illawarra Dragons on Friday night.

His first try for Wolves helped his new side gain their second win of the season at Hull on Friday.

And now he's looking forward to his first clash against an NRL team as part of the World Club Series that also pits Brisbane Broncos against Wigan before the champions' decider between St Helens and South Sydney Rabbitohs.

The importance of the occasion is not lost on the England and ex-Castleford Tigers hooker.

“It’s massive for the club and massive for Super League," said the 22-year-old.

"It’s no secret that everyone thinks NRL is the best league in the world.

“So the three games that are taking place, if a couple of Super League sides can get a win it might change people’s perspective on that - and there’s probably not as big a gap as most people think."

He added: “Benji Marshall has been a big icon, a big name in the game for such a long time. It’ll be pretty special to play against him."
