WARRINGTON Wolves' World Club Series opponents St George-Illawarra Dragons drew 12-12 with NRL champions South Sydney Rabbitohs in the pre-season Charity Shield fixture at ANZ Stadium, Olympic Park, earlier today.
As in the NRL nines last weekend, half back Benji Marshall was highly influential for the Dragons.
He opened the scoring with a brilliant solo effort in the first half and his chip kick produced a try for winger Eto Nabuli 13 minutes int the second period, with stand off Gareth Widdop kicking both goals for a 12-0 lead.
Rabbitohs squared things with a Sam Manulelua interception try and a barge-over from Chris Grevsmuhl in the final 15 minutes, with Issac Luke converting both.
