TONY Smith hopes the Warrington Wolves fans share the excitement he feels is surrounding the club ahead of Super League XX.
Wolves’ head of coaching and rugby has been impressed with his squad during pre-season, and hopes The Halliwell Jones faithful will back them in Saturday’s Super League opener.
Wolves host Salford Red Devils at 3pm.
“We’ve had a terrific off-season and pre-season and there’s a real excitement around the club,” he said.
“We’re hoping to share that with our great support and are looking forward to hopefully selling out our stadium each and every game.
“The first opportunity comes on Saturday, so we would love a big home crowd to get behind us for a really important start to the season.”
