WOLVES’ interim chief executive believes the club’s board is ready to make the 2015 season a success.
Norman Summers, who has a long association with the club, is taking on the job two days a week as the search for a successor to Andy Gatcliffe continues. Club chairman Steven Broomhead is also giving one day a week.
Summers said he and his colleagues are determined to keep Wolves among the top teams in Super League, on and off the pitch.
He added: “We have a very professional board, we are all serious businessmen and know what needs doing.
“We are looking for another hugely successful season. It is hard to believe it was just 2009 when Tony Smith arrived and we finally got some silverware.”
A shortlist of applicants has now been drawn up to take on the chief executive role full time.
