FIRMLY rooted to the bottom of the Super League table, London Broncos visit The Halliwell Jones Stadium looking to end their longest losing run in the top-flight.

They have lost 21 Super League games on the bounce, 19 this season, and face a Warrington Wolves side looking to match their best run since the 1986-87 season.

Wolves have also enjoyed victories the last three time these sides have met in Super League, the most recent clash seeing Tony Smith’s side run out 16-44 winners in the capital on March 9.

The last time Broncos beat Wolves was at the Twickenham Stoop in August, 2012, when the 62-18 triumph also gave the hosts their highest winning margin against the boys in primrose and blue.

Wolves have been victorious in their last five home meetings with Sunday’s visitors, who have not won at The Halliwell Jones Stadium since they were named Harlequins back in March 2008.

The last time the London side won in Warrington as Broncos was more than 12 years ago, a 14-28 victory at Wilderspool in April 2002.

Wolves’ Super League record against the London-based side stands at 23 wins, the highest an 82-6 success in 2011, and 17 losses.

Broncos will need the likes of hooker Scott Moore and loose forward Matthew Cook to be on top form if they are to get a result on Sunday, making 624 and 623 tackles respectively this season.
