BRADFORD Bulls will be looking to do a home double over Warrington Wolves on Sunday and book a Tetley’s Challenge Cup semi-final spot.

Tony Smith’s men suffered a 34-28 loss at the Odsal ground (Provident Stadium) at the start of May and now face a repeat of the 2010 quarter-final clash.

Wolves went on to lift the cup that year, while Bradford last won the competition more than a decade ago in 2003.

That was their second Challenge Cup crown in four years, bringing to an end a 51-year wait for the trophy.

The draw for the semi-finals will be made at the ground immediately after full time on Sunday, but the last time Bradford were in the hat in July 2007 they sank to a 35-14 defeat to St Helens.

Victory over Wolves earlier this season brought Bulls back on to zero points after the cash-strapped strugglers were docked six at the beginning of the year for going into administration.

A 20-12 win over rivals Wakefield Trinity Wildcats last week has put them on positive points for the first time this year, leaving them sat above London Broncos and off the bottom of the table.

However, while Smith’s side were amassing four successive wins between meetings with Francis Cummins’ outfit, the hosts’ triumph against Wakefield proved their only success.

They shipped an average of 50 points a game in three outings after beating Wolves, losing 0-50 to St Helens, 54-16 to Huddersfield and 46-4 at Catalan Dragons.

Jamie Foster was a late addition to the Bulls starting line up on Wolves’ last visit. He has added to his try and five goals that day with three touchdowns since.
