TRENT Waterhouse could face a spell of three months on the sidelines.
The back-rower sustained a knee injury in the Magic Weekend win over St Helens and Warrington Wolves boss Tony Smith has revealed the extent of the injury.
Waterhouse saw a specialist last week, where it was confirmed the Australian has torn his medial ligament.
“He’s the best part of 12 weeks, which is the judgement after going to see the consultant late last week,” said Smith, Wolves’ head of coaching and rugby.
“It’s not a good one, a significant tear to his medial ligament in his knee so we’ll have to take our time with Trent.”
