WARRINGTON Wolves collected a few ‘knocks’ in their Super League round five win at Salford Red Devils tonight.

But head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith does not expect any of them to prove serious.

Australian back rower Trent Waterhouse was named in the 19-man squad but missed his first match of a season in which he has been one of the star performers so far.

“Trent possibly could have played but he had a little bit of sickness leading up to the game so we kept him out,” said Smith.

“Bennie Westwood got a poke in the eye and Chris Bridge took a bit of a knock to the ribs but I think they’re all right and Trent should be back for next week.”

Next week brings a home clash with Wigan Warriors at The Halliwell Jones Stadiium on Thursday, kick off 8pm.
