Brigg Town 0 Warrington Town 2.

TOWN clinched a comfortable win against strugglers Brigg in Lincolnshire on Saturday.

The Yellows registered a fifth clean sheet in seven games, with Argentinian goalkeeper Diego Bassanini making three good saves, and went ahead in the 24th minute as Carl Rendell steered Michael Owens' corner beyond Brigg goalkeeper Damien Steer.

Anthony Daniels twice went close to extending Town's lead and Tom Lamb was also denied by a fine save before latching on to a Bassanini clearance to grab the Yellows' second goal 13 minutes from time.

Town: Diego Bassanini, Michael Grogan (Karl Brown 56mins), Steve Everett, Tom Spearritt, Andy Thomas, Nicky Prescott, Anthony Daniels (Scott Williams 69mins), Francis Smith, Carl Rendell, Tom Lamb, Michael Owens. Sub not used: Chris Fitzsimmons.
