The boys defeated Wilmslow 42-0 to make it three county cups in as many years and it caps another stunning campaign.

It leaves the team unbeaten for a third successive season, with their record of winning 28 successive festivals and competitions going back to October, 2009.

This season’s tally stands at eight, winning events at Stockport, Sale Sharks (Land Rover Cup), West Park Leeds, Vale of Lune, York, Stoke and Harrogate to add to the Cheshire Cup.

To bring down the curtain on the season, the boys will take part in the parade of champions as part of the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final at Twickenham on May 26.
