LYMM’S junior colts won a tight semi final on Sunday to reach the final of the RFU National Cup.
They secured victory by the narrowest of margins against their Moseley counterparts as they triumphed 22-21.
The win means Lymm have a chance to replicate their 2009 success in this competition when they defeated Exeter Chiefs’ junior colts.
Lymm will face Tonbridge Juddians at Sixways, the home of Premiership side Worcester Warriors, for the trophy on Sunday, April 30.
The club’s senior colts also enjoyed cup success as they reached the last four of the Raging Bull Senior Cup.
They recorded a convincing 57-26 victory at Birkenhead Park in order to reach the semi finals.
Lymm must next make a long trip to Cumbria on Sunday, April 23, to face Penrith’s senior colts for a place in the final.
