EAGLE shook off injury problems to deliver their best performance of the season so far in a 17-7 home defeat to Hoylake.
They took an early 7-0 lead and tried to control the game with a solid base created by the forwards in the line and scrum but failed to make the most of good field position and remain rooted at the foot of South Lancs/Cheshire Division Two.
Lloyd Feather, Nathan Taylor and Carl Leach crossed for tries for Eagle’s seconds in a 32-22 defeat at Lymm’s fourths.
