Vagabonds 58 Eagle 10
A DELAYED flight to the Isle of Man due to high winds and travelling without a full team laid a tricky platform as Eagle fell to a heavy loss at Vagabonds.
An injury to Dan Pucil and a player in the sin bin left Eagle with only 11 players for the last 10 minutes, a period in which Connor Adams scored a stunning try from 60 metres to add to an earlier effort from Ashley Losh, who had two other efforts denied by the referee.
Acton Nomads 2nd 28 Eagle 2nd 45
EAGLE'S seconds made it two wins from two with only 15 men against a well drilled Acton Nomads side.
They were 30 points clear by half time, with great play from experienced fly half Ian Farrar picking holes in the Nomads defence which allowed Feme Adepetun and Carl Leach to run through with ease and for Simon Counsell to make a welcome return with a hat-trick.
With no replacements available, Eagle tired but held their nerve to complete a convincing win.
