PRE-SEASON training is in full flow at ambitious Lymm Rugby Club.

Adam Fletcher continues as head coach of the first team, assisted by John Millington and Adam Bray, following the third-place finish in RFU National League Three North last season.

Fletcher has set his target for 2016-17 as a push for promotion to level four.

A number of additional players have joined the squad, while more are welcome either at competitive or social level at a strictly amateur club.

Lymm have three more senior sides playing in the Raging Bull North West Leagues, as well as a mini, junior and colts section catering for players aged five to 18.

Touch rugby is a growing section at the club for men and women of all ages, with a number of players already representing their country at specific age levels.

Senior rugby friendlies have been arranged:

* Thursday, August 18: Lymm v Old Readingensians (National Two South).
