UNIVERSITY Of Chester Warrington Campus men's rugby union team continued their title charge with a 13-7 win over Keele in their first game back following the winter break, writes Ashley Thornton-Jones.
The result leaves Warrington three points behind league leaders UCLAN, replacing their Staffordshire opponents in second place.
Elsewhere, the men’s hockey team claimed their first points of the season thanks to a 2-2 draw with Bangor.
In football, the men’s second team remain without a win following a 5-2 defeat to MMU Cheshire, while the third team could not prevent a 5-0 defeat to UCFB Burnley.
The women’s team also continue to search for their first win of the season following a 4-2 defeat to UCFB Burnley.
