Oldershaw 13 Eagle 16
A MATCH-WINNING penalty sent Eagle through to the quarter final of the RFU Junior Vase on Saturday.
Eagle converted with 10 minutes to hold on against Oldershaw and move one step closer to a final at Twickenham.
Oldershaw took the lead with a converted try but Eagle responded with a score of their own soon after. Danny Cahill failed to level with his conversion attempt.
Cahill made up for his error when he went over before half time to give Eagle a 13-10 lead.
A second penalty for the hosts levelled the score to make for a nervy finish, but Cahill’s penalty nudged Eagle into the next round.
