Firwood Waterloo 2nd 24 Lymm 2nd 27
LYMM held their position at the top of North West Division One on Saturday with a win over fellow title challengers Firwood Waterloo.
Lymm went 12-0 down after three minutes, but the visitors came back and were ahead at the break thanks to tries from Rhys Jones, Mark Wells and Sam Gough.
A Waterloo try and Lymm penalty put the sides level with 15 minutes to go before Jones converted a 30-metre penalty to claim a vital win for the visitors.
The defeat for Firwood dropped them to third and Lymm will now host new second-placed contenders when Wirral visit on Saturday.
Lymm: Cooper, Lewis, Grant, Halford, Hill, Lyon, Long, Harper, Boaden, Jones, Lester, Wells, Gough, Worton, Ridley-Thomas, Griffiths.
