Lymm 10 Sale 32
LYMM failed to become the first team this season to defeat top-of-the-table side Sale when they were beaten 32-10 in the National League Three North on Saturday.
Sale opened the scoring with a penalty in the fifth minute but Lymm hit back with a try from Dave Williamson, converted by Cormack Nolan.
Another penalty for both sides made the score 10-6 with Lymm seemingly in control, until Sale increased the intensity.
Three converted tries for Sale turned the game on its head and put the league leaders 27-10 ahead at the break and one more try in the second period kept the unbeaten run going for the visitors.
