Thirds secure promotion with walk-over
WARRINGTON’S third team gained promotion from Raging Bull North West Division Three South with a walk-over of Firwood Waterloo.
“This is not the way we wanted to gain promotion,” said skipper Shaun McDermott.
“The lads were keyed up for what we saw as the biggest game of our season.
“Hopefully, Waterloo will be able to field a side when we play them in a cup-tie at their ground next week.”
