LYMM’S under 17s have made history in the Raging Bull North West Colts League, winning every match en route to winning the title.
The Warrington outfit won each of their 14 matches to finish first in Division A, racking up a record positive points difference worth more than 450.
“This is a special bunch of lads,” said manager Steve Downes.
“They’ve achieved this success despite the absence of lads off playing representative rugby for most of the season.
“There are no superstars, just a testament to what teamwork, dedication and a great attitude can achieve.”
The season is not over yet, with Lymm’s record-breakers now targeting knockout success.
They travel to Yorkshire champions Ripon this Sunday in the RFU North Regional Cup quarter finals, while a Cheshire RFU Cup semi final at Altrincham Kersal awaits at the end of the month.
