BRENT Grose completed a clean sweep of the major awards by becoming the Warrington Sports Personality Wolves Player of 2005.

Grose can now regard himself as the undisputed player of the season after adding the Warrington Sports Personality award, sponsored by Warrington Plastics, to the Wolf Pack and Supporters' Trust prizes.

The 27-year-old, who excelled in a new full back role in Super League X, picked up the award after edging out fellow nominees Ben Westwood, Lee Briers, Mark Gleeson and Martin Gleeson.

Grose was an ever present in the Wolves side last season and consistently produced outstanding performances.

His reliability in defence provided solid foundations for the team's progress during the year, while his pace was always a threat in attack.

And few would argue that Grose scored both of Wolves' best tries during 2005, with a 105-metre dart at Widnes only bettered by an incredible slalom run against Wakefield.
