LYMM Rugby Club's under eights team completed a treble of back-to-back tournament successes at the weekend.

They added the much-coveted Rochdale Tournament title to their recent achievements.

Despite the quality opposition they faced, the boys did not concede a single try at Rochdale.

Lymm defeated Widnes 5-0 in the final, while en route they impressively beat Blackburn 8-0.

Despite the thick mud and constant rain, the boys scored some scintillating tries thanks to quick off-loading and support play.

Lymm: William Caldwell, Harvey Metcalfe, Joe Murphy, Alex Galloway, Neil Llewellyn, George Monaghan, Luke Diamond, James Sherlock, George Hughes.

* After a tremendous start, Lymm Rugby Club's under 10s lost by four tries to nil against Widnes in the final of the Rochdale Tournament.
