Double secured with Warrington help

WARRINGTON footballers have helped Cadishead under 13s secure a league and cup double.

Aaron Thompson, Jamie Carlin, Mike Carlin and Nick Tasker played their part in Cadishead winning the Warrington Junior Soccer League under 13s title as well as the Challenge Cup.

Cadishead, managed by Warrington-based Steve Thompson, defeated East Leigh 2-0 in the cup final at Victoria Park Arena, with both goals scored by Ryan Ledson, while they lost only once during their league campaign.

Team: Jack Sedgewick, Alex Barlow, Aaron Thompson, Connor Mcquire, Ryan Mcdonnagh, Mike Carlin, Miles Barton, Kieron Chapman, Ryan Ledson, Nick tasker, Lewis Hargreaves, Jordon Icely, Jamie carlin.
