LIVERPOOL Reserves' final two home games of the season will not be played at Warrington's Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Urgent work to repair the state of Wolves' pitch has forced the newly crowned champions to switch their games against Manchester City and Wigan Athletic to an alternative venue.
Sand flitting has taken place at The Halliwell Jones Stadium to aid drainage ahead of Wolves' next home Super League game against St Helens on April 27.
The games against Manchester City tomorrow, Thursday, and Wigan Athletic on Monday, April 21, will now be played at The Racecourse Ground, Wrexham - the venue for Liverpool's Reserve team games during the previous three seasons.
The kick-off time for both of these games will be 7.00 pm.
Liverpool's assistant secretary Ian Silvester said: "Liverpool Football Club acknowledges that this change of venue will cause significant inconvenience to our supporters who have followed the Reserve team this season in large numbers and apologise for the lateness of this decision which was taken in the interests of the safety of the players and match officials.
"The assistance of Wrexham Football Club in allowing Liverpool FC to use their venue at such short notice is greatly appreciated.".
Admission prices at The Racecourse Ground will be the same as at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, £5 for adults and £2 for concessions..
Tickets purchased from Warrington Wolves Rugby League Club for tomorrow night's game will be valid for The racecourse Ground but if supporters do not wish to travel then a refund can be claimed directly from Warrington Wolves on 0871 6221879.
