WARRINGTON gymnast Lucy Stanhope is celebrating picking up a medal at the Commonwealth Games.
Stanhope, 19, helped England to a team silver medal in the artistic gymnastics competition alongside Kelly Simm, Georgia-Mae Fenton, Alice Kinsella and Taeja James.
The City of Liverpool gymnast was a late replacement for the injured Claudia Fragapane but proved herself to be a valuable member on the team, impressing with a powerful display on the vault.
Stanhope now looks ahead to the individual all-around competition, which starts tomorrow at 7.41am UK time.
