WARRINGTON athletes were among the medals in the British Masters 10 Mile Road Race Championships in Rhyl on Saturday.
Nick Jones was second overall in the Rhyl 10 Miles Road Race, with his 54mins 56secs placing him second in the over 40s age group in the incorporated British Masters event and moving him to third in the UK rankings.
Steve Watmough was 10th in 57mins 37secs to win the over 55 age group and go top of the UK rankings.
David Gill finished 39th and Mervyn Ward 53rd with 63mins 34secs and 66mins 16secs respectively to place first and second in the over 60s age group, moving to third and seventh in the UK rankings.
Watmough, Gill and Ward won the over 55s team event.
