STOCKTON Junior Netball Club sides have been in action again.

The club are currently looking for new players from school years seven and nine.

They play matches in the Warrington Netball League at the Ball Hall in Latchford and at Broomfields Leisure Centre.

Stockton Starfish 6 Northwich 1 (Years 3-4)

ALL Starfishes were absolutely brilliant and thoroughly deserved their first win.

Lucy Gough scored two goals set up by Georgia Dean in the first quarter.

Lara Tarbatt was determined to intercept every ball.

Alice Wright then scored more goals to ensure the win for the team!

Girl of the match was Lucy Gough and team girl was Georgia Dean.

Stockton Storm 16 Rubies 54

GREAT start in the first quarter, powerful passes from both teams.

The Storm girls kept calm under pressure and played their hearts out.

Rubies are a strong team but the Stockton girls kept going.

Girl of the match was Georgia Price and team girl was Millie Parr.

Stockton Fusion 6 Phoenix Storm 27 (Years 9-10)

A great effort from the Fusion girls against a very tall side.

The team kept calm and produced accurate passing throughout the match.

Lots of positives from the match, including great footwork, passing and team spirit.

Girl of the match was Lizhi Potts and team girl was Izzy Green.

Stockton Jets 23 Beechwood Tidalwave 15

JETS worked hard against a tough table-topping Beechwood team, but they were calm, steady and kept things simple.

Lucy Rothwell scored seven goals and Maddie Hall scored 16. They communicated brilliantly in the D after receiving great passes from Lowri Beresford, Eva Connolly and Ellie Jackson.

Defensive squad Priya Mann, Bella White, Libby Acton and Jesss Connoly kept the ball from the net, rebounds galore!

Girl of the match was Priya Mann and team girl was Jess Connolly.

Stockton Dolphins 4 Appleton Toucans 3 (Years 5-6)

A close game and very fast paced game for Dolphins.

Goals from Lacey Morris and Nicole Broome in the first quarter gave them the lead.

Katie Mills scored another two in the second quarter.

Strong performances from all the players, but girl of the match was Abigail Gregg and team girl was Evie Morley.

Stockton Shadows 11 Warrington Swans 7

Great defending from Demi Holmes and Erica Castanio as they worked hard to keep the ball out of the net.

Lovely passing in and out of the D from Abi Vizard and Ella Brabin.

Girl of the match was Izzy Appleton and team girls were Abi Vizard and Izzy Appleton.

Stockton Stingrays 6 Sandbach Mist 4

A tense match throughout for the Stingrays but they held on until the end to get the win.

Interceptions from defenders Max Markham and Freya Aitken were key in keeping the ball from the attackers.

Stingrays showed real character.

Player of the match was Bella Stanton and team player was Khadija Siddiqui.

Stockton Supernovas 31 Alsager 13 (Years 7-8)

SUPERNOVAS won each quarter of a fantastic match.

Strong defending and great goals.

Anya Grieve and Nicole Nevitt were praised for interceptions and Katie Barnes for making herself free on the court to receive passes.

Girl of the match was Kiska McQuillian and team girl was Jasmine Jones.

Stockton Firebolts 6 Alsager Vipers 7 (Years 5-6)

EXCELLENT defending from Jess Dean and goals from Ruby Humpries in the first quarter set the platform.

Lots of great fluid passes and defensive jumping, while Holly Nash and Amy Dixon worked well getting the ball into the D.
