A SOLD-OUT crowd looks set to get right behind two Warrington Muay Thai boxers as they fight for titles on home soil.
Tomorrow, Friday, sees Muay Thai action land at Alford Hall in a show organised by the Warrior Muay Thai gym, the first show the Latchford-based club has organised.
The headline bout of the 13-fight card will see local boy Daniel Bonner, from Warrington’s Supremacy Fight Academy, take on Chris Donaldson, who fights out off Stockport’s 2Technical gym.
Bonner will be hoping home advantage will see him claim the World Ring Sports Association’s (WRSA) Northern title in the 73kg division.
Warrior’s Ste Watts will also fight for a WRSA Northern title as he takes on Ciaran Whitehouse, from the Kao Loi Gym in Harrogate, for the 79kg belt.
Watts will be looking to maintain his 3-0 winning streak when he takes on Whitehouse for the title.
The remaining 11 fights will be a mixture of junior and adult contests, with the action getting underway at 7pm.
More information about the show can be found on the Warrior Muay Thai website at wmtwarrington.com.
The show is sponsored by Lean Authentic, Foden Estates Ltd and Bubble Customised Clothing.
