WARRINGTON golfers came to the fore in a festival on the Lancashire coast.
Chris Greenwood and Stuart Daniels edged home in the Morecambe Bay Golf Festival.
The 29-year-olds lifelong friends finished their adventures on three different courses just one point clear.
In wet and windy conditions, they scored 37 points at Heysham on day one, 42 points at Lancaster 24 hours later and rounded off with 39 points at Morecambe.
Greenwood, of Cinnamon Brow, who plays off a handicap of eight, and Daniels, handicap 11, who recently moved to Wigan, have been Alder Root Golf Club members since 2012.
A successful 2017 for Greenwood includes winning the Alder Root Order of Merit.
The Bay festival attracts hundreds of golfers from all over the UK.
