LYMM’S Andrew Bentley raced consistently in Equipe GTS race at Oulton Park on Saturday.
Racing his classic MGB Roadster, Bentley knew a strong qualifying session was crucial to his hopes and he did well enough to start sixth from 36 entrants.
Bentley held onto his position following the start of the race but lost two places due to a pit stop.
However, he managed to climb back up the leaderboard in the final seven laps to finish sixth, comfortably meeting his target of a top-10 placing.
