THELWALL rider Aidan Collins did not get the result he wanted in round five of the British Flattrack Championship at the Adrian Flux Arena in Kings Lynn.
In the heats he achieved two seconds but did not start the third, which resulted in him scraping into the A final off the back row.
Collins worked his way up to a good battle for third but had to settle for fourth place, a great result considering his starting position but his main rival Alan Birtwistle was able to stretch his lead in the overall championship.
The next two rounds take place in South Wales next month.
