GRAPPENHALL are through to the Cheshire Cup second round after a comfortable win at home to Oulton Park.

The visitors were all out for 109, with Gaz Burns doing the damage with four wickets.

In reply only two wickets were lost and overseas player Owen Lynch carried on his excellent start to the season with 78 not out.

A good run from Grappenhall’s seconds was stopped at home by Brooklands on Saturday.

Grappers posted 180 for 9 off their 45 overs in a rain reduced game.

Jack Critchley, James Jenkinson and Arthur Pennington all contributed with 30s.

In reply Brooklands coasted home by five wickets with an over to spare, with Scott Woodland the pick of the bowlers with three wickets.

The thirds were well beaten at Marple on Sunday.

Grappers posted 132 all out and Marple coasted home with 15 overs to spare, two wickets down.
