Archer overtaken in Order of Merit race
PHIL Archer has been overtaken in the race to win the Manchester and District Alliance’s Order of Merit competition.
The Birchwood Golf Club professional has led for the bulk of the season but now trails Chorley’s Andy Palmer by six points.
Archer will hope to still be in the mix when the competition will be decided on Wednesday, May 3.
