WOOLSTON Rovers A got their season off to the perfect start with victory at Langworthy on Saturday.
After falling behind early on when Charlie Kerrigan burst through a gap to score between the posts, Connor Muir crossed in the left corner for Rovers.
From the restart, a break led to Tom Woodwards then put the visitors ahead before Callum Moore’s try gave Rovers a comfortable half-time lead.
Langworthy’s Tom Pearson and Rovers’ Jay Ryder swapped tries after the break as the visitors picked up the win.
